Buddy button is gone and cartoon avatars are replaced by white dog

Hello,
I play this game on my sony xperia z1,
In the left corner the button to go to the buddies is gone in the lobby and when playing the game at a table.
All the cartoon avatars from everybody are replaced by a white dog in a red circle.
What can I do about this problem? I have restarted the app, delete it and reinstall in etc. nothing works
